					<description>The founding Director of Tyndall, Professor Mike Hulme, was recently replaced because he had gone off message. In the last year he has criticised environmental organisations and the media for over hyping global warming. He recently called Kyoto a failure and said we should step back two or three steps. He also said the concept of "Dangerous Climate Change" and "2 degrees" was subjective and regional, ie. for some people zero degrees was dangerous because climate is dangerous. For others two degrees was no problem at all. He was quietly scathing about the award of the Nobel Prize on global warming and said Scientists should not be driving policy.</description>
