					<description>Thanks for the concise update on the global warming bill and the energy bill. And for the links to various sites. I read the Forbes article, "Dim Prospects". It is so easy to get depressed about the slow progress but there is progress and it seems like public momentum is such that it will continue to push Congress to act.

Information is vital. The more I understand the better I am at helping others to believe in and act for the environment. I am personally involved in a coalition that is working towards passage of the energy bill and the higher CAFE standards, which means cars and trucks would get 35 mpg by 2020. There is a petition you can sign at http://www.energybill2007.org. Every little bit helps.</description>
